Finance and Commercial Manager

Are you ready to become the Finance and Commercial Manager in a fast-growing tech company?

Working from our UK office in Warminster and reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for finance and commercial management, and will work with the board of directors to set and manage strategic objectives.

You will be the owner of the management and statutory accounts, taking full responsibility for the company’s financial management including budgeting, cash-flow and monthly reporting.

Your commercial aptitude will ensure that the company’s pricing strategy remains competitive in the marketplace while also ensuring profitability. Your contractual awareness and attention to detail will ensure all customer contracts are commercially sound and provide a solid basis for prosperity.

Implementation of effective business risk management procedures will be an important part of your work and this will extend to ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and that the company’s health & safety policy is fully implemented.

You will ensure the smooth running of the business and its offices negotiating such things as rent and leases, insurances, and general capital equipment costs. You will source and maintain an appropriate CRM system; using that data to work with our business development teams ensuring we are best placed to re-sign annuity business.

In return you will receive an excellent benefits package with a salary of up to £35,000 to £50,000 per annum depending on experience..

•Demonstrable successful experience in managing financial, commercial and operational aspects of a growing business

• Experience of the technology sector

• Commercial acumen combined with customer facing skills

• Ability to manage and develop teams in a growing business

• A collaborative approach with strong communication skills

We are a fast-paced, nimble and decisive organisation that provides technology solutions to companies across the world. Currently turning over in excess of £2 million and looking to double this over the next two years whilst maintaining excellent profit margins of at least 20%.

Using software designed and developed in house:

• We design managed print services to drive down costs in large multi-user organisations including councils, universities and healthcare trusts.

• We partner with IT manufacturers, distributors and resellers across the globe to develop industry leading Technology-as-a-Service programs that enable end-users to purchase hardware, software and services through a low-cost monthly, quarterly or annual subscription.
